We are pleased to announce that experimental black metal band OLD CORPSE ROAD will be replacing BURNING EARTH at this years Gathering of the Clans!

We are sorry to announce yet another lineup change - BURNING EARTH have been forced to pull out of Gathering of the Clans due to some of their equipment being stolen. We will be announcing their replacement shortly.

We regret to announce that WAYLANDER have been forced to cancel their appearance at Gathering of the Clans 2009. Folk Metal UK apologies for this as we know there were a lot of people who were looking forward to seeing them. Irish metallers DARKEST ERA will now be headlining the festival and Cornish power metal band TWILIGHT STRIKE have been added to the bill.

Some good news though - we can confirm that the father of folk metal MARTIN WALKYIER (Sabbat, The Clan Destined, ex-Skyclad) will be attending once again this year as our compere. Also on board as compere/stage manager is Big Jim of The Rock Show fame.
